Hello!
My name is Katie and I love to travel. In addition to traveling I'm a mom to Aspen Belle, a dog mom to three crazy weimaraners Whiskey, Cider & Grayson, and a Military Spouse. We have been stationed all over the US and are no stranger to exploring new places. We enjoy taking small day trips as well as 3 week long vacations. We love travel so much, we even had a destination wedding in Jamaica. In addition to lying on the beach and relaxing, we enjoy site seeing, wine tasting, Disney and Universal.
I look forward to sharing our travels in the hopes to inspire and inform.
Panama City Beach, Florida
Panama City Beach, Florida is one of our favorite weekend getaways. We love exploring the different beaches, restaurants and ocean activities.
Pineapple Willy's is a cute restaurant on it's own dock. We prefer to sit outside in the enclosed dock area so we can see the beach down below. The outside area is both dog friendly and kid friendly, as well as can seat larger groups. The menu reasonably priced with starters, salads, sandwiches, Po'boys, fried baskets and lots of drink options. If you are looking for seafood, this is not the place. If you are looking for BBQ ribs, fried shrimp or hot wings you are headed in the right direction. The food is tasty and large portions. The drinks is the main draw to Pineapple Willy's, with daiquiris to-go, and souvenir refillable (for an additional cost) insulated cups. The other main appeal to Pineapple Willy's is the beach access. Not only can you view the beach and the waves from lunch/dinner, but you can go down and play in the sand. The beach does get crowded! Even in February/March, the beach was fairly full of vacationers having fun in the sand. If you are driving, you may have to circle the parking lot a few times to find a spot. They do have overfill parking lots with a shuttle as well a few blocks away. Overall, a great place to relax, have a drink and play on the beach for a little bit.
